Phase 1

• To engage regional air-quality agencies, municipal health departments, and local environmental groups to recognize how wildfire activity drives hazardous PM2.5 spikes in Galicia

• Bring together school administrators, worker-safety organizations, and citizen monitoring networks to discuss exposure risks and communication gaps.

• Encourage dialogue on improving early public awareness of smoke-related air-quality changes.

Phase 2

• Invite municipalities, clinics, and community groups to join a voluntary “Clear Air During Fires Commitment,” sharing brief PM2.5 alerts and simple protective tips during smoke events.

• Promote small actions: posting micro-updates on local channels, sharing easy infographics, or documenting low-cost community monitoring efforts.
