Phase 1

• Bring together public health officials, hospital infection control teams, and local NGOs to recognize gaps in awareness and reporting of antimicrobial resistance (AMR).

• Highlight the risks of untreated infections and overuse of antibiotics through concise case examples for engagement

Phase 2

• Invite hospitals, pharmacies, and community health centers to publicly endorse a voluntary “AMR Awareness Pledge,” committing to monitor antibiotic use and share educational resources

• Encourage small-scale actions like posting informational materials, hosting brief staff training, or sharing responsible antibiotic use tips with patients
